Army officer faces trial at Swindon Magistrates Court Featured

A British Army captain has appeared in court at Swindon charged with three motoring offences including driving dangerously.

Captain Oliver Farquharson, 19, is charged with failing to stop and failing to report an accident on Staniers Way in Chippenham on June 23 last year. He is also charged with driving dangerously in a red VW Golf.

Cpt Farquharson, of Bencroft Hill, Stanley, pleaded not guilty and his case was adjourned to January 6 for trial at Swindon Magistrates Court. He was remanded on unconditional bail.
